With regards to the options available for employees going on an approved leave of absence - there are 2 options employers are able to offer:
1. Maintain all lines of benefit while they are off on an approved leave
2. Terminate all lines of benefit while they are off on an approved leave and reinstate the benefits when the employee returns to work provided it is within the statutory leave period.
