How Do I Access Billing Statements on the Sterling Platform?

Access your group benefits billing statements anytime through the Sterling platform, so you can quickly review charges, download copies for your records, and stay on top of your plan’s monthly activity as a Plan Administrator.

Note: Accessing statements is only available for Plan Administrators on the Sterling platform. For assistance with plan administrator access or to add/change plan administrators, contact Sterling Support at: support@sterlingbrokers.com

Log in to the Sterling Platform

Tips:

  • Make sure you use your administrator credentials when signing in (your personal benefits account may use a different email).
  • If you have trouble accessing your account, contact Sterling Support at support@sterlingbrokers.com for assistance.

Dashboard Overview

After logging in, you'll arrive at the dashboard, which gives an overview of your most recent statement and a snapshot of your Enrolled Employees, At-Risk Employees, Late Employees, and benefit classes.

View and Download Statements

From the top of the dashboard, select the Statements tab to see all billing statements in chronological order, with the most recent at the top.

From here, you have two options:

  • Click the magnifying glass icon to view the Statement Details page, or

  • Click the PDF icon to download the statement as a PDF to your device

Use the magnifying glass icon to access the Statement Details page, where you can:

  • Review total charges

  • View adjustments for the billed month

  • View adjustments for prior months

  • See miscellaneous adjustments (such as manual adjustments and credits)

You can also download the statement in additional formats using the download dropdown menu:

  • CSV (sent to your email): Best for data analysis and working in Excel

  • Table (sent to your email): Best for quick review in a readable format

  • Combined PDF (direct download): Best for downloading the full statement as a PDF document

  • Participation Split PDF (direct download): Best for viewing employer vs. employee cost breakdowns
